
Former Writers Forum Membership Director and part-time freelance editor Jennifer Higley will share the basics of starting your own website hosted by WordPress at the next Writers Forum meeting, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.
Higley will explain how to create a blog, choosing from the free options or a paid theme and how to make it your author’s website, from basic set-up to showcasing your books and publishing your first post. Audience Q&A and sharing of ideas will be welcome.
Writers Forum meets monthly, except July and August, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Eaton Hall East, 2150 Benton Drive, Redding. Doors open at 10 a.m. The public is welcome to get acquainted with two free visits before joining. Annual membership dues are $25.
